Lee County Schools Informed Parents Stronger Schools Brighter Futures

Lee County schools, in the open.

A community improvement initiative run by parents in Lee County, Florida. We collect what families, teachers and students are actually seeing inside the district, check it against the public record, and publish both.

The Day 14 Count Exists, and It Is Not Going to the Public

Lee County counted its students on August 28. On September 8 the district showed the board a made-up school called Excellence Elementary, then adopted a $3 billion budget built on a projection of 3,361 new students. The real count goes to board members in Friday's newsletter. The workshop, the three policy changes, and the vote.
